Commercial Services

Electronic Security and Fire Alarm Systems are only as good as the company that installs them.
Our highly trained and experienced technicians are part of what separates us from our competition.

Nurse Call Systems

Nurse call systems today are more flexible than ever. Integration to systems like pocket pagers, wireless telephones, medical equipment, etc. are now commonplace. We have the experience and understanding of these systems to help you identify which options you require whether replacing your existing system or adding to an existing one.

Here are some considerations:
  1. Reduce Noise - This has been at the top of satisfaction surveys. Overheard paging is not the answer.
  2. Decrease call light response times - We see too often calls going unanswered at the nurse station. Unit secretaries have more to do now than ever. Calls need to be answered quickly and response times decreased. All of which improve patient satisfaction.
  3. Eliminate unnecessary steps for staff - Provide staff with more information and empower them to communicate with each other and with support areas of the facility(i.e. pharmacy, lab, dietary).

Security Systems

Security systems involve several categories. We have listed three here below, although we are able to handle any type of electronic security system required. Each system is capable of individual operation, or may be integrated together.
  1. Intrusion alarm systems - These systems generally include door switches and motion sensors controlled by a keypad. These systems have a capability to do much more with sound detection, water level detection, temperature monitoring, and other type sensors. These devices can annunciate locally at the premises or can be monitored off premises.
  2. Access systems - Also known as card access systems because entry (or exit) is controlled by a "one of a kind" card. Presently there are many other ways to show access authorization such as finger print, retina scan, voice recognition, etc. These systems can control doorways, gates, HVAC systems, and just about anything else where authorized verification is required.
  3. CCTV Systems - Closed Circuit Television systems consist of color or black & white cameras attached to switching, recording, and display equipment. The switching can include many cameras to be displayed and recorded on one system. The recorder will take the camera images and store up to several days worth of information on one piece of media. There are analog recording (tapes like a vcr) and digital recording (like a computer hard-drive). All viewing and playback can be done at the location or remotely, using a network or telephone lines.

Fire Alarms

From small conventional to full analog addressable (digital), we have the capabilities to handle your fire alarm needs from design and installation to service after the sale. Everything is done "in-house" with our own Nicet certified installation and service crews. We are experienced with networking from a couple of buildings to an entire campus. Networked for alternate control or monitoring at one central location.
